Benefits of Fast Woodworking Projects

Fast woodworking projects give you instant gratification. They are a great way to try out a new technique, test a new product, or use up some scrap wood.

A fast woodworking project is a quick win, and it can give you a confidence boost, especially if you've been stuck on a long, dragged out project previously.

Fast woodworking projects also make the best wood projects to sell!

If you are a beginner woodworker, fast projects can help you to master basic woodworking skills without getting yourself into anything too deeply.

Fast projects are perfect for gradually building your confidence and competence so you can work your way up to more intermediate woodworking projects!

Quick Wood Finishing Techniques

Proper finishing is important - it gives your project a finished look and makes it more durable.

But, sometimes the finishing work can take as long as the project itself! This includes staining, painting, or sealing your project.

If you want to keep the finishing part of your project to a minimum, our biggest tip is to keep it simple. This is not the time for layering stains or complicated paint jobs!

Choose products that are marked as "quick dry" to speed up dry times. And, don't skip the primer! A good coat of primer before painting can vastly cut down on the coats of painted needed for full coverage.
