Want to build something for the baby in your life? Here are a ton of ideas and tutorials for woodworking projects for babies!

Having a baby - or grand baby - is such an exciting moment. If you are a maker, it totally makes sense that you would want to gift the baby with something homemade.

When I was pregnant with our first child, both Sean and I went wild making things for him. I did a lot of sewing for the nursery (and I'm not typically a big sewer!) and Sean built a crib from scratch - his first ever big build and design.

Of course, by the time baby #2 came along, we were a bit too busy with our toddler to do a ton of builds. Sorry second child!

Whether you yourself are having a baby, or you are looking for a gift to make for someone having a baby, a woodworking build is a great idea.

Some ideas of woodworking projects you can build for babies:

  • cribs
  • changing tables
  • wooden toys
  • play pen
  • wall mounted growth chart

We have made a TON of building projects for our kiddos over the years - and wanted to round the best builds for babies up for you today!
