Discover the joy of easy woodworking projects for kids with our guide, featuring fun and simple woodworking projects perfect for family bonding. From beginner-friendly crafts to creative ideas, inspire your little ones to build and create alongside you!

If you do woodworking, it is natural that your child might be interested in trying to make something, too.

Our son, Luke, has been helping dad in the shop since he could barely toddle around.

Now he is five years old and he actually helps on a lot of projects. More than just fetching tools, he can actually do some light building himself.

We have really fostered him and his sister's love of building by taking them to the (free!) monthly kids builds at the Home Depot. These are excellent projects, with all pre-cut wood and simple steps perfectly age appropriate for preschool and elementary aged kids.

Today we want to share some of our favorite easy wood projects for kids. These are all great projects that are simple to make, don't need to many tools, and can be finished relatively quickly.

Remember - the project itself really doesn't matter. Kids are going to be thrilled to be building with their parent, and feel so special for getting to call something their own.

But, we did want to round up some of our favorite kids woodworking projects that your family might conquer this weekend!
