Asking My Groomsmen to be Groomsmen

You guys already read about how Morgan asked her bridesmaids to be her bridesmaids. It was cute and fun and very girly. Well, that's not how I am. I wanted to punish my guys while also making it fun. My groomsmen are childhood friends and college roommates. Morgan gave her bridesmaids little bottles of champagne, so I wanted to bust out a classic prank and ICE my friends.

Don't know what icing is? It's when you present a man with a bottle of Smirnoff Ice and they have to get down on one knee and chug it. Smirnoff Ice is disgusting, and forcing a guy to chug a bottle is hilarious. But Morgan presented her bridesmaids with really cute boxes, so I had to do something. Plus, ALL of my groomsmen live out of town and I wasn't reasonably going to be able to ask them all in person. So, that's where the mail comes into play.

I started out by getting some notecards and writing out a message to each of my groomsmen about why I wanted them to be in the bridal party. I lead each card off by saying, "The bridesmaids got champagne. You get ICED!" Then, I also drew a little characterization of each person on the front of their card using the mustache on the front as a basis.

Then, for the guys I knew I couldn't ask in person, I packed up the card and a Smirnoff Ice and mailed them off. After that, it just came down to the waiting. But it was all worth it. Here are some of the results! Make sure to click the links to watch video!
