Easter Tablescape with Carrot and Lettuce Centerpieces

Happy Spring y'all! I hope that all of your weather is starting to warm up and that spring is on the horizon. Today I am sharing an Easter tablescape.

Since it is almost Easter, I decided to lean a little Easter with my spring tablescape, but also leaned a little garden whimsical. I know, whimsical is not normally my thing, but tablescapes are temporary enough that they are a fun way to take a risk with a style that you don't usually decorate with in your home.

As a reminder, the table and benches were a DIY build by Sean last year.

The obvious stars of this set up are the centerpieces. I created the carrot centerpiece using, you guessed it, carrots. They are full length carrots that I cut in half and placed both halves cut side down in a round glass vase. This vase held about a dozen carrots. I then trimmed tulips and stuck them into the gaps. My sister called it the Bugs Bunny look but I think it screams spring, and it really makes me smile.

On either side of the Bugs Bunny display is a head of lettuce that I hollowed out to hold a small mason jar. Just use a knife to cut a hole in the lettuce and keep cutting until you get it to tightly hold the jar. I added these pink micro mums that I trimmed very short.

The dishes are some of my favorites. The design is called Imperial leaf and they are discontinued but you can find them on eBay. The faux grass chargers where a DIY from a while back and I am so glad that I held on to them!
