A Simple Fall Mantel

It's beginning to feel like fall (if by fall you mean Hurricane Season!) so it is time for me to share another seasonal mantel with you! I love mixing up our fireplace mantel for each season and am excited to share this simple fall mantel with you today. Be sure to keep scrolling to the bottom of the page to see more autumn mantels from some of my blogger friends!

I have been enjoying having our mantel be empty except for our glass candle holders from Lamps Plus ever since Haven.

To start mixing it up, I decided to add pumpkins. Honestly, it was the first of September and the Publix pumpkin collection was pretty sad!  I ended up going with 3 pie pumpkins and 3 green squash that were unlabeled in the produce section - let me know if you know what they are!

I actually really liked this simple look but wanted to add a bit more to it. I think that it would be 100% fine to leave it simple with just the pumpkins.

However, I decided to add some vertical sticks and horizontal greenery from our yard. This gave it a more full look, though I do wish that the squash were white so they'd pop off from the greenery a bit more. Ahh, oh well!

Are you decorating a fall mantel? Please share!!

The contrast of the blue and orange is so pretty! And I agree you could have left off the greenery, but I think it's gorgeous and adds a really nice natural element. Beautiful!

Ooh, I love the blue mixed in with the fall vibes. So nontraditional, but still striking!
Beautiful job! Oh, and yes, hurricane season is our first hint at weather that isn't scorching around here in my part of TX too. I've been enjoying the cooler temps and rain, but I'm always so concerned for those that live in areas that might be touched by the storms.

I really like the addition of the sticks! I think the added height and texture adds a lot of interest. I don't think our grocery stores have pumpkins stocked yet, either, but I love that you found squash! I've been thinking of everyone in the path of Hurricane Florence. I can't imagine prepping for a storm like this!
