Want to make a new wreath for Autumn? Check out my tutorial for this DIY Fall Eucalyptus Wreath!

I love decorating for the seasons, and one easy way to update your home for each season is with a new wreath.

There are tons of pre-made wreaths, but lord have mercy have they gotten expensive.

At the same time, making a wreath from scratch can require a ton of supplies and be complicated or expensive.

So, this season I decided to make what I am lovingly calling a semi-homemade wreath. I started with a super inexpensive basic eucalyptus wreath base, and jazzed it up with festive fall picks.

Here's how easy it is to do, and the exact supplies that I used!

How to make a Semi-Handmade DIY Fall Eucalyptus Wreath

Here's how easy it is to make this beautiful Autumn wreath!

Steps to make:

Here's how easy it is to use fall picks to update a basic wreath.

STEP 1: Fluff the wreath

Wreaths always look small, smushed, and bad coming out of a box. You want to fluff the wreath just like you fluff an artificial Christmas tree.

Start at one point on the wreath and pull out each branch. Separate them, straighten the branches, and separate them so they look full.

STEP 2: Add inner picks

Start with your berry picks on the inner ring of the wreath. Make sure that they align with the direction that the eucalyptus branches are laying.

Hold the pick aligned with a eucalyptus wreath, then twist the pick to wrap the pick's stem around the wreath branch to hold in place.

Work your way around the wreath to do this for the entire circle.

STEP 3: Add outer picks

Repeat this process on the outer edge of the wreath. This gives it a layered look to have 2 layers of berries.

STEP 4: Add hanger

Cut a length of twine - about 12 inches in length. Fold in half and tie around the wreath to make a loop to hang from.

STEP 5: Hang and enjoy!

Hang on a hook or hanger on your door. Enjoy!
