Another one of the major selling points in this particular condo was the large screened porch. The screens allowed our pets to get some quality outside time without me having to worry that they would run away.
This porch became such a loved part of our home that a screened porch was on the must have list when we decided to move!
This screened porch featured concrete floors and a storage closet. Here it is when I first moved in:
We added a ceiling fan! This was a simple update but made a huge difference. It gets hot in the south, y'all, and a fan keeps the air moving and made this space much more usable.
Sean built a custom work table to do small projects on.
In lieu of having a garage, this was the best workspace that we could come up with and it really really came in handy.
We built a planter out of a pallet. This was a super cheap and easy way to try to have a container garden in our third floor porch.
There wasn't a whole lot of room for improvements out here, but we used the space to create many of the improvements we made in the rest of the house.
