Our Spring Mantel

I am so excited to share our spring mantel with you today. One thing that I am most excited about in our new home is decorating for the seasons and the holidays. We now have space to store off season decor, but also we have lots of more spaces to decorate!

We updated our fireplace by running molding and extending it to the fireplace, but haven't really updated it much since.

I wanted to update the mantel for spring by adding lots of greens and florals. I am lucky that so much is in bloom right now - these camellias and the leaves came from our side yard! I have 2 slightly different looks for you, one with the extra greenery and one without. The extra greenery is lush and dramatic and fabulous, but maybe not an everyday look.

For a more simple look,  I also styled the mantel without the greens. This is how it will normally hang out this season, and I will just refresh the flowers every three to five days with new cuttings.

The brass candlesticks are 2 sets of graduated brass candlesticks from my Etsy shop. I styled them with simple white tapers and just love the look.

Man, I am so jealous that your greenery is real! All we have up here in Chicago right now is dead branches on the ground. 🙂 The colors and natural elements make your mantel beautiful!

Thanks! It's been 70's for about a month now and randomly this week it's freezing cold! Hopefully we all have spring weather soon 🙂

Lovely camellias and greenery! The winter frost has killed all the beautiful azaleas and other flowering plants here. But spring is just around the corner!

I love both looks, and your collection of candlesticks! I am envious that you were able to pop outside and trim such pretty flowers from your yard. Our flower bushes are nowhere near blooming yet.

well, ours bloomed weirdly early this year. especially the azaleas, there are usually big festivals in April. They are now worried that they will be done blooming before the festivals!
