Want to add a sweet touch to your Valentines Day decor? Here's how to make a Candy Heart Vase Centerpiece for Valentines Day!

I have been having so much fun decorating for Valentines Day this year! It's all pink and red and hearts and fun.

Is there anything more Valentines-y than candy and flowers? Not that I can think of! So, I decided to combine the two to make a fun Valentines Day centerpiece!

The trick to this vase is that I didn't use real candy hearts! I was worried about getting bugs, or them getting sticky, or the kids trying to eat them all day long.

Instead, I used these foam conversation hearts. They totally look real and are perfect for crafting!

Here's how easy it is to make these candy heart vases!

Supplies needed:

  • 2 vases that nest inside each other with about 1" of space between
  • Candy hearts - here are the foam fake candies I used!
  • Flowers to put in the vase - I used 2 of these bouquets from Michaels!

You can use any vases you prefer, but I chose to layer a 5 inch cube vase with a 3 inch cube vase inside it! This made a low, easy-to fill option!

Steps to make:

STEP 1: Layer the vases

Place your smaller vase inside your larger one.

STEP 2: Add hearts

Start adding hearts between the 2 vases. A great thing about the foam hearts is they have text on both sides - so no worrying about direction!

Try to mix up the colors so you have a balanced look. Repeat all the way around until it is full to the top!

STEP 3: Add florals

Add your florals to the center vase. I used faux florals and cut the stem shorter so they would sit nicely.

One bouquet looked a bit sad so I ended up doing 2 together!

STEP 4: Display

Display and enjoy!
