It’s December 18th! One week before Christmas! Why are you reading a blog post about gifts for guys?!?! Probably because you’re like most people and have put off your Christmas shopping for far too long. At this point, it’s going to be hard to get stuff shipped to you in time to wrap it and have it under the tree, unless you pay for expedited shipping. Well, if you don’t have the money for expedited shipping or want to make sure you have gifts in time, here’s a few last minute gifts for guys that you can get pretty easily.
Baked Goods: This might seem like a cop out, but take it from a guy who loves food- it’s not. Any time Morgan bakes me something, like Oreo Cupcakes or Nutella White Chocolate Chip Cookies, I get super excited. No guy is going to be disappointed with a box of homemade deliciousness.
Belt: Do you have a Vineyard Vines near you? They have some really cool belts, like this Christmas anchor belt that is only $40 right now. If not, head to any shop or department store and pick out a nice belt. Guys wear belts pretty much 100% of the time unless they are doing something active and always could use a little change around the waist. A nice skinny tie or a new watch would help them mix it up too.
DVDs: Did you go see a great movie this year and then talk about it for days afterward? Go out and get it for him on Blu Ray. Or, if they are a Star Wars fan, go get them the box set of the first six movies in anticipation of Star Wars Episode 7 being released next year. Caution- if you do this, you are also agreeing to watch all six movies and then will be going to the midnight showing.
Box Desk Calendar: I know, everyone has a smartphone to keep their calendar, but these are for fun! Last year, Morgan bought me a Scrabble one and I love playing the games and learning new words every day. Plus, you can find a calendar at Barnes and Noble easy for anybody, as long as you know what they like. Cats? Dogs? People of Walmart? Travel? Sports? Comics? There are tons of options and you can find one that fits any guy’s personality.
These are just some ideas to get you going. And go is what you need to do! Run out to the store and find something for your guy!
